Silvair and BEGA become Regular members of DiiA

DiiA, the global industry alliance for DALI lighting control, is very pleased to announce that Silvair, Inc. and BEGA Gantenbrink-Leuchten KG have both decided to become Regular members of DiiA. Previously, both companies were Associate members. 

This upgraded membership status provides a number of benefits, not least the ability for companies to participate in DiiA’s Work Groups that are developing new DALI-2 features, specifications and test procedures.

Silvair describes itself as “an American company with Polish roots that builds software solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT).” Currently, the company is focusing on developing a technology for lighting manufacturers and providers of intelligent building-management systems. It offers the Silvair Lighting Firmware, as well as digital tools based on the Bluetooth mesh standard that allow for building the Silvair Platform.

Headquartered in Menden, Germany, BEGA manufactures high-quality luminaires for almost all areas of architecture, both indoors and out. The company has certified several DALI-2 LED drivers and bus power supplies, which are listed on the DiiA website.
