Input devices added to DALI-2 certification program

Sensors and other input devices are now part of the DALI-2 certification program.

The DALI-2 test-sequence software for Parts 301, 302, 303 and 304 is now available to DiiA members. This software enables members to carry out testing of their products to confirm DALI-2 compliance.

The following device types have been added to DALI-2:

• Part 301 – Push-button devices
• Part 302 – Absolute input devices e.g. switches, sliders
• Part 303 – Occupancy sensors
• Part 304 – Light sensors

The test sequences for Parts 101, 102 and 103 have also been updated.

All DALI-2 certified products are listed in the online Product Database, which already includes DALI-2 control gear such as LED drivers; DALI-2 application controllers, and DALI-2 bus power supplies.
