Ideal Industries, Inc. joins DiiA as a Regular Member of DiiA

DiiA, the global DALI alliance, is very pleased to welcome Ideal Industries, Inc. as a new Regular Member. Ideal is a global, diversified business with headquarters in Sycamore, Illinois, USA, and designs and manufactures products and tools for professional tradesmen in a variety of industries.

One division of Ideal is Audacy® Wireless Lighting Control, which offers wireless lighting-control systems for a broad range of applications and has been deployed in high-profile venues such as Wrigley Field in Chicago.

According to a spokesperson, “Ideal Industries, Inc. has joined the DiiA as part of our ongoing commitment to expand the presence of our Audacy wireless lighting-control solution into the UK market via our UK-based subsidiary, CMD Limited.  The DiiA membership will help Ideal become active in the DALI community and provide us with a means to stay in touch with the latest technical developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends.”

Earlier this month, Ideal announced the acquisition of Cree Lighting, which includes the LED lighting fixtures, lamps and intelligent lighting-control solutions business for commercial, industrial and consumer applications of Cree, Inc (see press release).
