DALI-2 certification status

Status of DALI-2 certification

DALI-2 certification (including D4i certification) is based on tests that are created and maintained by the DALI Alliance. DALI-2 tests are derived either from individual Parts of the IEC 62386 standard or from DiiA Specifications.

Allowed Parts for certification

DALI Alliance members that are working towards product certification should use the version (edition/amendment) of each IEC 62386 Part that is listed in the “Allowed Parts of IEC 62386” document (updated February 2024).

Another essential document for product developers is “Clarifications and Recommendations for IEC 62386” which is only available on the member website.

Parts that do not have a green tick against them in the tables below (DALI-2 column) are not yet included in the test sequences. Until released in the test sequences, certification of products that implement such Parts is not possible.
